Day 284 Bible Reading: Jeremiah 17-18, 1 Thessalonians 3, Psalm 81 and Proverbs 25:6-8 
The bible says that our heart is deceitful beyond cure. That our heart is like a stone, with no feeling, and no response to God's love. Only the Gospel can transform the heart of stone to a heart of flesh. The transformed inner heart is far more important than the outward devoted Christian.
