Day 287 Bible Reading: Jeremiah 23-25, 2 Thessalonians 2, Psalm 84 and Proverbs 25:15 Link opens new window

What is the greatest miracle? To a paralyzed man, unable to walk for many years, being healed by Jesus Christ would be a great miracle. The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins, and so He said to the man, "your sins are forgiven." God made Jesus who had no sin to be sin on our behalf so that in Him, we might become the righteousness of God. The greatest miracle is that all of our sins and our enemies’ sin debts are paid in full, and we can become righteous before God through Him.

"In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: ‘The Lord is our righteousness.’" – Jeremiah 23:6 (English Standard Version)

"Thank you, Jesus, for your love and forbearing all of our sins. Thank you for showing us an example of Your righteousness so that we have a perfect spiritual model to follow. May we grow to be more like You and not just become a righteousness man in You. In the name of Jesus, I Pray, Amen."
