Day 300 Bible Reading: Jeremiah 49-50, Titus 2, Psalm 99 and Proverbs 26:17 
With the political chaos in the world today, it's easy to lose sight of God's hand in the background. Some world leaders crow and cry, brag and boast about themselves and their might.
Nevertheless, the psalmist suggests that it is those godless nations that should 'tremble' in fear, not us. We know that our Creator God who holds everything in place. Our God REIGNS! His Kingdom is on earth.
"The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake!" – Psalm 99:1 (English Standard Version)
"Father God, instead of getting all tense and concerned about the politics and happenings around me, may I rest in you. You reign. You're King of kings. Renew my mind to see that these daily stresses are the merest challenge to you. Erase my petty fears; help me understand you enthroned in Glory! In Jesus' name, Amen."
