Day 311 Bible Reading: Ezekiel 17, Hebrews 8, Psalm 106:13-31 and Proverbs 27:7-9 
The covenant with God's people – Israel, derived out of The Old Testament. Under the old covenant, in order to keep their salvation and remain to be God's people was done by obeying His Law and its sacrificial system. The animal sacrifice can only provide a temporary "covering" for one's sins; the blood of Jesus can remove sin entirely and break the power of sin. Under a new covenant, those who believes and accepts Jesus. Those who receives the spirit of Christ and belong to Christ also has the strength and authority of Christ to bring Heaven on earth for His glory.
"In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away." – Hebrews 8:13 (English Standard Version)
"Jesus Lord, thank you for your sacrifice, bearing all our sins so that we can be cleansed. Thank you for your new covenant so that we may have life, and have it to the full, through you. We have a new relationship with you. We have your kingdom come to us and in us. Amen."
