Day 313 Bible Reading: Ezekiel 20, Hebrews 9:11-28, Psalm 107 and Proverbs 27:11 
The writer of Hebrews spends a lot of time contrasting the sacrificial system before Calvary with the new covenant. The old was excellent but imperfect. It required constant maintenance, a lot of work, a caste of Levitical priests, and the death of thousands of innocent animals. The new is perfect and complete in every way. No wonder the writer uses words like "much more" and "better" and "greater and perfect." The contrast is spectacular! His blood is perfect! God’s Grace is glorious!
