Day 338 Bible Reading: Daniel 12, 1 John 4, Psalm 123 and Proverbs 29:2 
This proverb highlights the importance of righteous versus wicked leadership because of its effect on the citizens. Righteous rulers who serve their subjects and do not abuse their power bring joy to their people. Evil and corrupt rulers who abuse their ability to help themselves bring misery to their people. A righteous leader will have wisdom from heaven. The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
