Day 351 Bible Reading: Nahum 1-3, Revelation 8, Psalm 136 and Proverbs 30:5-6 
In the tabernacle of Moses, the altar of incense was just in front of the holiest place, and Aaron, the high priest, had to offer incense to God twice each day, once in the morning and again in the evening. Incense symbolizes prayer of praise, worship, and intercession, and prayer of all types is a pleasing incense to God. And the altar of incense is just in front of the holiest place. Prayer is the step we need to take for coming into God's very presence.
Do you have an altar of incense in your life where you regularly pray of praise, worship, and intercede as a pleasing incense to God? When you pray, you talk to God; you build your relationship with God. God is relational.
"And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel." – Revelation 8:3-4 (English Standard Version)
"Lord Jesus, let us be people of prayer of praise, of worship, of intercession, and we thank you that even as we do this, we come right into your very presence. We thank you that our prayers and personal relationship are pleasing to you. We need your help to build that daily relationship with you. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
