Reflection
Reading Colossians 1:15-22 and the life of Jesus makes it clear who He truly is. Even before His birth, people knew what He would be like and what He would do. Yet, in our daily lives, we often forget who Jesus truly is. We reduce Him to human standards, seeing Him as limited, like us. But Jesus is not like us. He is the King of Kings, the Alpha and Omega—perfect, sinless, and blameless.
Still, we don’t always fully abide in Him. This may come from a lack of faith, or not spending enough time with Him, getting to know His heart, hear His voice, and experiencing His presence.
Proverbs 8:17 says that “those who seek me will diligently find me.” Jesus is present in both the smallest and biggest of things. The King of Kings is waiting for you to seek Him. Let’s invite Him in all we do.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for always being there, even when we forget about You. Guide us to know You more, to see You for who You are, in our daily lives. Help us to see Your heart in all things. In Your name, Amen.
