Reflection
"Chosen" indicates one who is selected from a group, designated for a specific purpose, marked for favour or special privilege, an elect person. God calls believers of Christ “His Chosen”, clothed with divine favour and righteousness, saved and redeemed by His precious blood. We are transposed out of the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light through Christ, no longer slaves but sons and daughters. Not endless religious striving to earn grace, but resting on the perfected work through Christ.
Through the different challenges and seasons of our lives, God calls us to “remember”. We are not to fear or strive for His grace but to enter into His rest for we are sealed by His unmerited favour and love. As we entrust all to Him, we are set free from fear, rooted in our identity in Christ to live a victorious Kingdom life.
Prayer
Abba Father, thank You for Your love that we may receive this incredible gift of adoption. May we never take this for granted but live lives of deeper intimacy with You to walk out this Kingdom calling that more may be set free to encounter Your love and Light. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
