Reflection
History remembers fearsome conquerors - Alexander the Great, Qin Shi Huang, Genghis Khan. Driven by ego and ambition, they shed blood to expand empires and build their own names.
Yet, as believers, we are called to a vastly different victory. We are more than conquerors, not through earthly force or pride, but through the overwhelming love of God. Earthly rulers conquer to gain power; we overcome because we are already held by a loving Saviour. This truth shines the brightest during our hardest trials, setbacks, and moments of darkness. We do not stand victorious because our circumstances are easy, but because God is faithfully present. He will never leave nor forsake those He loves.
Therefore, we can live with unshakeable confidence, knowing that in all things, God is working for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Prayer
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and promises. We rest in unshakeable confidence today, knowing that nothing can separate us from Your love made clear through Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross and His triumphant resurrection. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
