Salvation is open to everyone regardless of background, status, education or profession - it's as available to the high-flying lawyer as it is to the humble housekeeper. Let us be careful to treat every person with honour and having equal rights. The only disqualifying factor is if one hasn't put on the wedding clothes which were given to every guest. By wearing his own clothes, the man hadn't respected the significance of the event and was offensive to the king. Let us be clothed in (robes of) righteousness (Isa 61:10) which is a gift (Rom 5:17) to us, and not rely on our self-righteousness to enter His kingdom.
Thank You, Father for the gift of salvation. We acknowledge that Jesus alone is our Righteousness. May Your grace motivate us to love and accept others regardless of their past or status. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
