When we go to a banquet, the host expects us to put on our best to celebrate and share the happiness with him. This shows our respect and love to the host. God also has the same expectation of us. We should present our best for God - repent and live in the righteous way to respond to His grace and love for us on Sundays as well as weekdays.
Dear Father, we thank You for inviting us to enjoy the eternal life with You in Heaven. Help us, Lord, to fix our eyes on You and live in righteousness, so that we may be able to face judgment without fear and shame when we come to the court of Heaven. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
