When I was on a sole driving tour in Japan, the rental car company carefully and repeatedly reminded me about the importance of refueling my car with the right type of fuel at self-serving petrol stations. Refueling my petrol car with diesel, for example, will stop the car from operating. As Christ-followers, are we refueling our soul and spirit with the right “fuel”, the fuel that is from our Heavenly Father who has limitless source of strength and wisdom?
Father God, we acknowledge that You alone is our greatest source of strength and we thank You for such blessings. Help us not to depend on our own strength. We praise You when we feel helpless, knowing that You will lift us with Your mighty power. In our failing strength, You will renew us for You care for us. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.
