…but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.Isaiah 40:31 (ESV)
From birth to about 40 years, eagles have such vigour. However, after this, they have to go back to its nest to go through a very painful and extraordinary transformation. Their beaks and talons will be stripped away. Their feathers will drop. It is hard times for eagles when they have to wait for 150 days for this process to pass. Nevertheless, in the waiting, the rebirth of an eagle gives them renewed strength and extraordinary power.
Father, thank You for reminding us to go back, sit and wait in Your nest as we go through our own transformation. Thank You for lifting us and letting us spread our wings to soar high above and see Your majesty from an aerial's view. Thank You for Your love, strength and sight that releases us to do extraordinary things for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
