For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.1 Corinthians 12:12 (ESV)
Locusts on their own cannot do much harm, but when they come together in unity they can conquer a farm completely. We are the church, a family in Christ, and we have different gifts from God. Just as a right hand needs a left hand to work together, we need each other. We are not to compete with each other but to complement and love each other. Greater unity in love can make greater impact in the world.
Father Lord, let there be no division and competition in the body of Christ. Let us humble ourselves and use the talents You have given us to work together in unity. Bless us so that we can reach out to more people and reap the harvest in Your way. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
