Like locusts, we can ‘gain’ power by encouraging each other and serving on the field as a group! But if we are not careful, a group can also be unfruitful, especially when the people only serve their own motives and lose sight of the common goal. There is no lack in stories around us where Christian groups have fallen apart because deep down, the members no longer love, empathise and understand each other to carry on. These are negative examples we should avoid.
Father, we pray for ICA to work and to be stronger together, with a unity that comes about when each of us are humble, gentle, and bearing with each other in love, so that as a whole, we embrace the diversity You have created and ‘maximise’ our group power when serving You, Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
