Ants have teamwork and are well organised with an amazing sense of discipline and purpose. They are self-motivated, determined to find ways to overcome obstacles, to help one another to complete duties. Ants prepare for the future, make the most of every opportunity. They don’t procrastinate to build walls and store up food ahead for winter or rainy seasons.
What are the lessons here? — Are we sluggish and procrastinate, not aware of duties and the time? Let us have the foresight and insight to be equipped for living out our God-purpose driven lives.
Father, Thank You for reminding us that laziness does not glorify You. Help us to get up and be rid of the attitude of procrastination — no more sleeping “just 10 more minutes!” Renew the sense of discipline and purpose in us to be productive spiritually and physically for Your Kingdom, for Your glory alone! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
