In Proverbs, we are reminded how ants work against obstacles to store food for their colony. The only earthly entities we can bring into the Kingdom of God are ourselves and saved souls. Though we are tiny as ants in comparison to the universe, we’re entrusted with such a worthy mandate.
We work diligently in every way so that by all possible means we might win some to the Kingdom of God. We apply what He has granted us confidently, humbly, and faithfully while trusting Him. It is also important to rest; ants take turns to rest, so that “the sower and the reaper may be glad together” (John 4:36-37).
Father, each day is Your gift, a time to work and rest, to receive and testify Your goodness on earth. Help us to be faithful and fruitful. In Jesus' Glorious Name, Amen.
