It is fascinating to watch the ants marching in a line, often carrying large food masses that are bigger than them. They move about orderly, helping and supporting one another. If you put a finger in the ants' path, they will just walk around it. Your finger won't hinder them. They are focused and persistent in every way, overcoming obstacles.
The ants' attributes correctly reflect Christian living. The church functions only when the members help and support each other for the common good. We should keep our eyes fixed on the goal. Problems that we face will develop our perseverance – which in turn will strengthen our character, deepen our trust in God.
Heavenly Father, thank You for commanding us to follow the ants' ways. Help us to learn their traits so as to enable us to apply in our everyday life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
