It's fascinating to look at the little ants! They are undeterred by huge mountains that they face, whether literally or the amount of work required to move it. Do you know that each ant is an independent decision making entity and not a mindless automaton? Though leaderless, they perform perfectly in unity. What is the secret? A willingness to be available, to obey and to serve the higher calling for the common good.
Jesus said the greatest commandments are "Love your God and love your neighbour". Like the ant, let us be available and willing to do our best as Jesus commanded. When we do, we become His salt and light for the world.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the wisdom You have revealed to us! May we arise to bring Your Kingdom transformation in the circumstances around us. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
