In our toughest times and uncertainties, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness, that He is our Shepherd, we are His sheep. He carries and leads us to safety. As we trust and follow Jesus, we are secured and lack nothing.
When wearied and feeling depleted, we are to hope in God, to desire for renewal of His divine presence and sweet intimacy, as a deer thirsts for fresh living water – a spiritual thirst in the wilderness of soul yearning from within, deep calls to deep.
LORD Jesus, we belong to You, our Shepherd. Break our spiritual drought, pour Your living water into us as we drink deep from Your life, that grace and love would revitalise us and overflow from us into others. Come Holy Spirit, fill us now. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
