It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.Psalm 18:32-33 (ESV)
The feet of deer are anatomical wonders. They are able to climb impossible mountain terrains that others can’t. When walking through challenges, it teaches us a lot of lessons and makes us grow stronger. God has promised to help us so that we surefooted and don’t stumble. Just as God enables the deer to climb mountain terrains, God will provide strength and skills for us in times of need. Our God is strong; we can depend on Him. He will make us stand on higher ground.
Dear God, thank you for giving me strength every time I depend on You. As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, my God. Give me ears to listen to Your voice and do what You have called me to do. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
