I love reading about the life of Christians who are used by God to change the world. Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke fully trusted in Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. God used him to heal and save millions of souls. Maria Woolworth-Etter, an itinerant holiness evangelist conducted mass tent healing revivals with as many as five hundred per week making commitment to Jesus.
The same Holy Spirit who worked in the lives of Reinhard and Maria is the same Holy Spirit Jesus promised to live in us. If we yield our lives to Him, He will come and give us deeper understanding of His ways, and empower us in ways unimaginable.
Jesus, You gave us Your Holy Spirit. Apart from You we can do nothing. Strengthen us to rise above every difficulty in life, to triumph over hardships today. There is nothing too difficult for You – heal our cities. Amen.
