For many years as a Christian I struggled to share the gospel with friends and relatives until I was baptised in the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ disciples didn’t fully understand the significant role of the Holy Spirit whom Jesus said His Father will send to live in them. This caused them to hide in fear when Jesus died.
It is only when the Holy Spirit came on them during Pentecost that they were able to arise and witness for Jesus powerfully. We too need the Holy Spirit to do the work God called us to do.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the power we received from the Holy Spirit to witness for Jesus. You are our Supernatural God and we are not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. In Jesus's name, Amen.
