And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold two men stood by them in white robes, and said "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."Acts 1:10-11 (ESV)
Miracles abound in the life of Jesus on earth – from His conception, to His resurrection and His ascension. When Jesus returned to heaven, it was an awe-inspiring sight for the disciples. They were not sad at all, but on the contrary they rejoiced and worshipped Jesus. Now they returned to Jerusalem knowing confidently that Jesus was the son of God, fully divine. Miracles transform lives and engender our praises to God.
Dear God, You are supernatural and powerful and we want to be bold and ask for miracles to happen in our daily lives. We want to see Your glory when we worship and transformation occur when we pray. May the Holy Spirit instill into us dreams and visions beyond our imagination, and lead us to places that we never thought possible. In Jesus' name, Amen.
