We sometimes wrestle with issues in our life which tend to drag us down, and it seems God is far away. One way I constantly pick myself up is to go back to Genesis: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." In verse 3, God created light. He did not light a fire, but literally created light out of nothing. He is the Light of the world; our supernatural God. But there is more. John 3:16 says He is a God who loves the world. Nothing is impossible with God who loves us!
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and through Jesus we have eternal life and relationship with You. You are the Light in the midst of darkness. When we entrust all to You, You will do immeasurably more than what we ask or imagine. You are our hope and strength always. In Jesus' name, Amen.
