Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.

Isaiah 49:15-16 (ESV)

Day 40 - Never Forgotten

When my daughters were little, they loved to have their favourite cartoon characters painted on their hands so that they could always look at them. Similarly, you are always in God’s sight; His eyes are ever upon His beloved. Even in times of your brokenness and weakness, you are still in His hands and never forgotten. Remember how God sees you, and rest in His supernatural love.

Prayer

Abba Father, how great is the love You have lavished on us, that we should be called children of God and that is who we are! Open our hearts to understand how You see us, let us rest in Your supernatural love. Even in our darkest hour, empower us to see the light of Your love still shining brightly and that we are never forgotten. In Jesus' name, Amen.
