Mankind will say, "Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth."Psalm 58:11 (ESV)
God is asking us to act righteously because there is a reward for it. But we need to submit to God’s judgment and not our own judgment. God is the one who is evaluating our life. Everyday, by our actions, behaviour and choices, we prepare ourselves to be judged by God. We must walk by faith and not by sight because our God knows what is best for us while we are under His care in this world.
Lord, we pray for Your help to act righteously and to make the right choice everyday. We keep ourselves pure knowing that You are the ultimate judge of our life and behaviour. By faith, we seek for the presence of Your Holy Spirit in our hearts, and for Your care. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
