We all set our standard of the kind of people we want to make friends with. We often wish that we are friends with “important people”. But God is telling us that in our evangelism mission, the worth of people might not be according to our standard. A person’s worth is not defined by name, status or wealth. Often, in mission trips, God puts different kinds of people on our path who are worthy to be prayed for their salvation or healing.
Lord, today we ask You to give us a heart for Your lost sheep. Open our spiritual eyes to see the people placed on our path to bring Your word and salvation. Help us overcome our prejudices. Give us an obedient spirit to share the gospel with worthy people. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
