The scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” This includes everyone, because there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles; God is the same Lord of all and richly blesses all who call to him. As the scripture says, “Everyone who calls out to the Lord for help will be saved.”Romans 10:11-13 (GNT)
Who is worthy to be saved? A worldly perspective suggests only people who walk, talk, and act 'good enough' are 'worthy'. Yet, Romans 3:23 states that all fall short of the glory of God. None are 'worthy'. But praise God for the following verses about His grace that gives forgiveness and freedom for those who put their faith in Jesus.
Who am I to withhold God's saving grace from someone 'unworthy'? I too am 'unworthy', if not for God's great mercy and love. Moved by God's goodness, let us share His grace with whoever that calls out to the Lord. No one is 'unworthy' of receiving the Good News.
Father, thank You for Your saving grace. Open our eyes and hearts to whoever is calling out to You. Enable us to share the love of Jesus with them. In Jesus' name, Amen.
