“Jesus called his twelve disciples...” – a call to evangelism is ultimately a call from God. Just like He called His disciples many years ago, He is also calling us today to participate in the accomplishment of His agenda on earth. The fear of inadequacy and rejection might hinder our response. But our focus should be on pressing on as we are led by the Holy Spirit and knowing that Yahweh will never leave us nor forsake us.
Yahweh, Mighty God of the Israelites, only You are God. We come before Your throne of grace to worship You, to respond and accept Your call. Here we are, send us Lord. Empower us that we may accomplish Your agenda and may Your Holy Spirit lead us in this journey. We pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
