Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.1 Peter 4:8-10 (ESV)
I still vividly remember my experience of my first mission trip – I was deeply impressed by the power of evangelising by the Spirit as a group, people seeing us as a group with power and joy and the word of God was spread just by our presence. I love the team greatly and learnt a lot by working as a team to evangelise and bring the miraculous power of Him. I am greatly encouraged to love and serve anyone around me and to bring those with the same heart to do it together, as that carries a greater power.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace and blessings, and thank You for allowing us to demonstrate such great love through serving people around us, especially through serving as a team which the love and grace multiplies and greatly blesses those we reach to. God we pray for us to be encouraged, to keep the heart in serving this way and to experience Your love this way too. We pray all these in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
