Evangelism is our calling in life and we cannot possibly do it well if we just rely on our own efforts. As we serve and make plans, our ‘work mode’ can sometimes take over. We forget that evangelism is not about us or how well we run a kingdom group...it is all about God, where God places us, how the Holy Spirit prompts, how He empowers us to speak His good news and truth to reach out to people in need. Most of all, we belong to the family of Christ and it is a blessing to be part of the ‘business’ we run for our Father in heaven!
Father God, thank You for placing us where we are for Your Kingdom. Renew us daily so we have fresh anointing to bear witness for You and evangelise about You to the people around us, so more ‘fish’ can be caught. Thank You for putting brothers and sisters around us to build up Your Kingdom together; this is how You want us to multiply and experience Your heavenly joy! In Jesus' name, Amen.
