When Jesus was asked why he ate with tax collectors and sinners, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.... For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
Church is not a building. It is a family of imperfect people in Christ. Without a support group, none of us can make it in life. We come together to worship, honour and proclaim His Kingdom. It’s just as important that we work together to build relationships and help those in need. We glorify God by showing kindness, good work and sharing His love to others.
Lord Jesus, may we love one another, be evidence of your ultimate love to one another as we come together to advance the work of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
