I was pondering on the fact that the disciples had been learning from Jesus and yet didn’t even understand Jesus’ coming death and resurrection. Nevertheless, Jesus sent them and they went.
We learn by doing. We don't learn to cycle just by reading a book on cycling. One need not finish seminary training or a set of books before starting to go out and share the gospel.
The first word in the Great Commission is “Go!” One reaches the world by going, not by waiting for people to come to you, your fellowship, or your church. Do you go out?
Heavenly Father, teach us, as You taught the disciples, to trust you and to follow as You lead the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
