See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called the Children of God. And so we are.1 John 3:1 (ESV)
One of the most beautiful purposes of God's redemption plan is to make us brothers and sisters of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Jesus, He gave us the right to be called children of God. What a powerful loving gift! Not a servant or subordinate in heaven – God embraced you and me intentionally as His sons and daughters, His family!
But God's plan doesn't stop there. He wants us to love others who has yet to come into His family. Let us therefore devote our lives to share about Jesus so that many may receive His love and salvation.
Dear Heavenly Father, what a privilege it is to be called a child of God, as co-heirs with Jesus! Father, may we grow in Your love as a family and together, live out our lives for Your Kingdom purposes in Jesus' name, Amen.
