Besides many amazing mentors, I was blessed with 2 spiritual fathers in early seasons of my life. My first Korean pastor led me to baptism with water and fire. After he left, I desperately yearned for spiritual food. Through an amusing yet timely incident, an Australian couple appeared in our lives and enrolled us in an impactful 2-year Bible school program. They also eventually departed. They taught me the life-lasting principle to focus on looking forward, back and now on the Lord's faithful work, and His open gates to ever expanding and satisfying green prairie. Spiritual inheritance and impartation are unique and exemplified in the Christian gospel – the Son revealed, receiving God as our loving Father, and being empowered with the Holy Spirit.
Lord, despite recent passing of some Christian giants, Your faithfulness continues from generation to generation. Raise amongst us new generation of God’s generals. In Jesus Magnificent Name, Amen.
