In our daily lives, it is common to see the power of role-modelling: sons and daughters will grow in diligence when they see how hard-working their parents are, students will learn how to respect others if their teachers demonstrate respect to others in daily teaching. As Christ-followers, we must be aware of the potential impact of our actions, big or small, to others and aspire to live our everyday life in the way of love (Eph. 5:1–2), as exemplified by Christ Jesus.
Father God, we come humbly to confess our inadequacy in how we behave in our daily lives. Lord, help us to follow Christ’s example and help us to become spiritual fathers to others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
