I recently discovered podcasts. One that is high in the Charts is called “5 minute Psychology”. It gives sensible advice on how to find meaning in life and other topics. It made me appreciate that many people are looking for guidance. I don’t like to give advice as I think it may not be well received or could lead to conflict with the recipients. However, if we truly love them and want them to grow, we should gently speak life to them through the word of God, albeit the message may be uncomfortable.
The call to be a spiritual father requires courage and sacrifice. We should all dig deep and reach out to the spiritual sons that God has placed in our lives. Let us encourage them to turn to the word of God and rely on the power of the Holy Spirit who gives direction in life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
