And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, please open his eyes, so that he may see.” And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.2 Kings 6:17 (NIV)
Many of us are going through the worst situation of our life, some are weary. Let’s all learn from Elisha – he looked at his situation through eyes of faith. His servant saw the vast army of enemies before them while Elisha saw deliverance, God’s army! Why? Because he knows God is faithful. God is going to deliver them. When we start to fully rely upon the Lord in our situation, God starts to move. This is the kind of legacy we want those after us to see. We want them to witness how we trust in our GOD in the midst of difficulties. That’s faith in action!
Dear Abba Father, we thank You Father for working in our lives. As we go through these difficult times, we thank You for the joy and peace that comes in trusting You. We pray and commit our next generation to You. May they see Your goodness, love, mercy and faithfulness. May they see their help comes from YOU. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
