During the COVID-19 lockdown, I had more time to chew on God’s Word and am enlightened by Apostle Paul’s teaching on God’s righteousness.
How can Christians be image-bearers of God? We have a “new self” being renewed in knowledge after the image of our Creator. We are called to live daily in a way that embodies more and more what that “image and likeness of God” look like. His “righteousness and holiness” are to be our lifestyle.
Lord Jesus, help me to lean on You more and consciously surrender my thoughts and ways unto Your will. Help me not to conform to the world’s pattern but be transformed by the renewing of my mind so I can put off old self and put on new self to live a life pleasing to You, not by my might but by Your Spirit. In Your Name we pray, Amen.
