Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.Ephesians 4:15-16 (ESV)
We may be unhappy with ourselves, our families, our careers, Hong Kong and those around us. However, let us be courageous and focus on God’s promises and remind ourselves of the miracles that He has brought about in our lives. When we face setbacks or disappointment, let us us be still in Christ, be mature and not childish (1 Corinthians 14:20). Let us tackle problems using wisdom from God (James 4:17-8) and not from man.
Father Lord, help us to keep meeting together and sharing about our efforts to bring God’s Kingdom on earth. Whether that is reaching the lost, strengthening God’s people or ministering to the poor, help us to focus on You and encourage one another and work together as one community for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
