The COVID-19 outbreak exposes the weakness and imperfections of man. Fear and worries grip man’s heart, insecurity steals man’s sanity. But when we know that God is our Provider, Jesus our Healer, that all things are possible in Him, He is a miracle-maker, supernatural God, our tower of Refuge and our Source of Life, then having His peace during turmoil is the key to be overcomers in this world.
Father, crisis reminds us to draw closer to You and seek Your righteousness. Let our eyes not lose sight of Your Kingdom purpose. Help us put our hope in Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith who can cast out fear. Let all afflictions bend our knees more, to receive Jesus’ true peace, for "since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe" (Hebrews 12:28 NIV).
