Is our security in face masks and hand sanitisers? Where do we look for security? Our security is under attack. Like Mufasa reminding his son in the Lion King, “Remember who you are”, God is reminding us in times of turmoil, that we are citizens of God’s Kingdom. Yes we need security, and God desperately desires to give it to us.
Abba Father, help me to be honest with You about the areas in my life that I need help with to feel secure. Whether it is fear of job loss, health risks or personal conflicts, help me to confess my insecurities. Restore my security in Your love, Your mercy, Your grace, Your hope. Thank You that my security is in You, no matter where I am or what is happening in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
