Some Pharisees asked Jesus when the Kingdom of God would come. His answer was, "The Kingdom of God does not come in such a way as to be seen. No one will say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' because the Kingdom of God is within you."Luke 17: 20-21 (GNB)
When a kingdom comes and replaces another, there will be visible changes such as a new flag, new costumes, and new laws. Although the coming of God’s Kingdom is invisible, the internal changes within believers will soon become external and tangible. The fruit of the Spirit will be seen and the power of a transformed life will be felt, wherever we go. Let our light shine before men.
Abba Father, we thank You for the coming of Your Kingdom upon us. We declare that we are the light of the world so that people in darkness may see Your light. Empower us, Lord, that our light may shine before men, that they may see life in a new dimension. Anoint us with Your love to be Kingdom-bringers at a time as such. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
