I was excited to grow my own bean sprouts at home with organic seed. But in few days I found that it has rotted. Little did I know that besides needing to be covered up with dark cloth to avoid direct sunlight and regular watering, they needed air circulation as well. The seed represents the Word of God. Although we may have sown good seed, if we don’t nurture it properly, it may produce unpleasant results.
Dear Father, You have reminded us that faith without action is dead. Help us to be proactive with the faith seed that You have planted in us and not become weary. In times like this when salvation of many hinges on thin lines, help us to spread the good message of Your Word faithfully without ceasing. Holy Spirit, help us in our blind spots as we nurture the growth of seed. In Jesus' name, Amen.
