Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered away because they had no root.Matthew 13:5-6 (NIV)
This portion reminds of us for those who just attended Sunday Service without rooted in Kingdom of God and fellowship community (Hebrews 10:25a). They are not nourished spiritually in kingdom family. Adversities come, and they fall away.
Father, help us to seek Your face and be nourished by Your Word daily. Let us continually meet together to encourage one another, and be firmly rooted in You. Jesus, Lord make Your home in our hearts as we trust in You. Let our roots grow down into God’s love and keep us strong (Ephesians 3:17). In Jesus' name, Amen.
