The message of the Kingdom is a seed Jesus placed in our heart. How we receive God’s Word is determined by the condition of our heart. There needs to be an initial opening of heart, to make space for Jesus’ message to grow and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Jesus said "He who has ears, let him hear". Jesus is talking to us through His Word, directing, encouraging, and building up.
Our hearts is the good soil of our very being. We need to embrace the good news, fight off evil, be committed to God’s empire and do God’s will to live fruitful lives.
Father Lord, help us to be still and listen to You. Give us wisdom that is rooted in Your Word to experience breakthrough in all dimensions of life You have given us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
