As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.Matthew 13:23 (ESV)
As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.Luke 8:15 (ESV)
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God.
In Him is life and this life is in the Seed.
May we be the one who represent the good soil;
The one who hears, understands, and receives Him with a good heart.
Take care and fertilise the ground, so that His plans will be accomplished in us;
Bearing fruits, not having only ten, but a hundredfold.
Dear Dad, sometimes, because of the environment, we tend to be like that of a hard, stony, or thorny ground. Please forgive us. We invite Your Holy Spirit to cultivate the condition of our hearts. May our complete confidence in You demonstrate our sonship. May our lives glorify You and Your Kingdom alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
