For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.1 Peter 3:18 (ESV)
Jesus submitted to the Father even when submission meant suffering and injustice for Him, to the point of death. Until His final breath, He gave His all, not for His own sake but for ours—to have access to God. We are brought back to the arms of our Heavenly Father and adopted to this Heavenly family because of what Jesus has done. Who are the ones whom we want to bring back to this family? How can we be like Jesus in their lives?
Father God, thank You for loving me and never giving up on me. Jesus, thank You for sacrificing for me and bearing all my sins. I commit myself into Your hands. Holy Spirit, renew me daily so I will be sensitive to the Father’s will, to be more like Jesus and bring souls to this Heavenly home! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
